Tafsir — Hud 40

And O my people! I ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from none but Allah. I am not going to drive away those who have believed. Surely, they are going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people that are ignorant (29)And O my people! Who will help me against Allah, if I drove them away Will you not then give a thought) Nuh says to his people, "I do not ask you for any wealth in return for my sincere advice to you." Wealth (Mal) here means, "payment that I take from you." Nuh means, "I am only seeking the reward from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime." Concerning the statemen (30) وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا (I am not going to drive away those who have believed.) This alludes to the fact that they (the disbelievers) requested Nuh to disassociate himself from the believers, because they were averse to them and felt themselves too important to sit with them. This is similar to the request of disbelievers to the seal of the Messengers ﷺ to disassociate himself from a group of the people who were considered weak in their social status. They wanted the Prophet ﷺ to sit with them in a special gathering of the elite. Therefore, Allah revealed, وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ (And turn not away those who invoke their Lord, morning and afternoon.) Allah also says, وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُولُوا أَهَٰؤُلَاءِ مَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن بَيْنِنَا ۗ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِالشَّاكِرِينَ (Thus We have tried some of them with others, that they might say: "Is it these (poor believers) whom Allah has favored from among us?" Does not Allah know best those who are grateful?)[6:53]

دعوت حق سب کے لیے یکساں ہے آپ اپنی قوم سے فرماتے ہیں کہ میں جو کچھ نصیحت تمہیں کر رہا ہوں جنتی خیر خواہی تمہاری کرتا ہوں اسکی کوئی اجرت تو تم سے نہیں مانگتا، میری اجرت تو اللہ کے ذمے ہے۔ تم جو مجھ سے کہتے ہو کہ ان غریب مسکین ایمان والوں کو میں دھکے دیدوں مجھ سے تو یہ کبھی نہیں ہونے کا۔ یہی طلب آنحضرت ﷺ سے بھی کی گئی تھی جس کے جواب میں یہ آیت اتری (وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِيْنَ يَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بالْغَدٰوةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيْدُوْنَ وَجْهَهٗ 52؀) 6۔ الانعام :52) یعنی صبح شام اپنے رب کے پکارنے والوں کو اپنی مجلس سے نہ نکال۔ اور آیت میں ہے (وَكَذٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُوْلُوْٓا اَهٰٓؤُلَاۗءِ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَيْنِنَا ۭ اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَعْلَمَ بالشّٰكِرِيْنَ 53؀) 6۔ الانعام :53) اسی طرح ہم نے ایک کو دورے سے آزما لیا اور وہ کہنے لگے کہ کیا یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر ہم سب کو چھوڑ کر اللہ کا فضل نازل ہوا ؟ کیا اللہ تعالیٰ شکر گزاروں کو نہیں جانتا ؟

Ô mon peuple, je ne vous demande pas de richesse en contrepartie de la transmission du Message car ma récompense me sera remise par Allah. De plus, je n'éloignerai pas de mon assemblée les croyants pauvres que vous m'avez demandé de chasser. Ils rencontreront leur Seigneur le Jour de la Résurrection et Il les rétribuera pour leur foi, mais je vois que vous êtes des gens qui, en me demandant de chasser les croyants pauvres, ne sont pas conscients de la réalité de ce que je leur annonce.

[ وَيَا قَوْمِ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًا ] وه‌ ئه‌ی قه‌ومی خۆم كاتێك كه‌ من ئه‌ڵێم موسڵمان بن له‌به‌رامبه‌ر ئه‌مه‌ داوای پاره‌تان لێ ناكه‌م و بۆ ئه‌وه‌م نیه‌ كه‌ سه‌روه‌ت و سامانتان ببه‌م [ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ ] به‌ڵكو پاداشتی من ته‌نها لای خوای گه‌وره‌یه‌ [ وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ] وه‌ من ناچم له‌سه‌ر داواى ئێوه‌ باوه‌ڕداران ده‌ربكه‌م و دووربخه‌مه‌وه‌ كه‌ فه‌قیرو هه‌ژارن [ إِنَّهُمْ مُلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ ] ئه‌وان ئه‌گه‌ن به‌ خوای خۆیان و پاداشتیان ئه‌داته‌وه‌ له‌سه‌ر ئیمان هێنانیان [ وَلَكِنِّي أَرَاكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ (٢٩) ] به‌ڵام من ئێوه‌ ئه‌بینم كه‌سانێكى زۆر نه‌زان و نه‌فامن كاتێك داوا ئه‌كه‌ن كه‌ ئه‌و فه‌قیرو هه‌ژاره‌ موسڵمانانه‌ دووربخه‌مه‌وه‌.
