Al-Baqarah · Ayah 134 · Al-Baqarah
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
"That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do."

O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the nations) (122)And fear the Day (of Judgement) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped (123)
We mentioned a similar Ayah at the beginning of this Surah, and it is mentioned here to emphisize the importance of following the Ummi Prophet and Messenger, who is described for the People of the Scriptures in their Books by his characteristics, name, the good news about him and the description of his Ummah. Allah warned them against concealing this information, which is among the favors that Allah granted them. Allah also commanded them to remember their daily life and their religious affairs and how He blessed them. They should not envy their cousins, the Arabs, for what Allah has given them, the Final Messenger of Allah being an Arab. Envy should not incite them to oppose or deny the Prophet or refrain from following him, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him until the Day of Judgment.
انتباہ پہلے بھی اس جیسی آیت شروع سورت میں گزر چکی ہے اور اس کی مفصل تفسیر بھی بیان ہوچکی ہے یہاں صرف تاکید کے طور پر ذکر کیا گیا اور انہیں نبی امی ﷺ کی تابعداری کی رغبت دلائی گئی جن کی صفتیں وہ اپنی کتابوں میں پاتے تھے جن کا نام اور کام بھی اس میں لکھا ہوا تھا بلکہ ان کی امت کا ذکر بھی اس میں موجود ہے پس انہیں اس کے چھپانے اور اللہ کی دوسری نعمتوں کو پوشیدہ کرنے سے ڈرایا جا رہا ہے اور دینی اور دنیوی نعمتوں کو ذکر کرنے کا کہا جا رہا ہے اور عرب میں جو نسلی طور پر بھی ان کے چچا زاد بھائی ہیں اللہ کی جو نعمت آئی ان میں جس خاتم الانبیاء کو اللہ نے مبعوث فرمایا ان سے حسد کر کے نبی ﷺ کی مخالفت اور تکذیب پر آمادہ نہ ہونے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے۔
[ وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا لَا تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ ] وه خۆتان بپارێزن له ڕۆژێك كه ڕۆژی قیامه‌ته كه هیچ كه‌سێك سوود به هیچ كه‌سێك ناگه‌یه‌نێ، وه هیچ كه‌س ڕزگار ناكرێ له ئاگری دۆزه‌خ به پاره‌و فیده‌یه‌و كڕینه‌وه [ وَلَا تَنْفَعُهَا شَفَاعَةٌ ] وه هیچ شه‌فاعه‌تێك سوودی نیه مه‌گه‌ر به ئیزنی خوا نه‌بێ [ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ (١٢٣) ] وه ئه‌وان كه‌س نیه سه‌ریان بخات.
Các ngươi hãy đặt giữa các ngươi và sự trừng phạt của Ngày Phán Xét một vách chắn phòng ngừa qua việc đi theo các mệnh lệnh của Allah và tránh những điều ngắn cấm của Ngài, bởi quả thật vào Ngày hôm đó, không ai có thể giúp ích được cho ai, và cũng không có sự thế thân hay chuộc tội cho nhau, sự can thiệp trong Ngày hôm đó sẽ trở nên vô ích cho dù kẻ can thiệp có vị trí cao cả thế nào, và Ngày hôm đó sẽ không có một thế lực che chở và phù hộ nào ngoài Allah cả.
