Al-Baqarah · Ayah 134 · Al-Baqarah
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
"That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do."

O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the nations) (122)And fear the Day (of Judgement) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped (123)
We mentioned a similar Ayah at the beginning of this Surah, and it is mentioned here to emphisize the importance of following the Ummi Prophet and Messenger, who is described for the People of the Scriptures in their Books by his characteristics, name, the good news about him and the description of his Ummah. Allah warned them against concealing this information, which is among the favors that Allah granted them. Allah also commanded them to remember their daily life and their religious affairs and how He blessed them. They should not envy their cousins, the Arabs, for what Allah has given them, the Final Messenger of Allah being an Arab. Envy should not incite them to oppose or deny the Prophet or refrain from following him, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him until the Day of Judgment.
[ وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا لَا تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ ] وه خۆتان بپارێزن له ڕۆژێك كه ڕۆژی قیامه‌ته كه هیچ كه‌سێك سوود به هیچ كه‌سێك ناگه‌یه‌نێ، وه هیچ كه‌س ڕزگار ناكرێ له ئاگری دۆزه‌خ به پاره‌و فیده‌یه‌و كڕینه‌وه [ وَلَا تَنْفَعُهَا شَفَاعَةٌ ] وه هیچ شه‌فاعه‌تێك سوودی نیه مه‌گه‌ر به ئیزنی خوا نه‌بێ [ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ (١٢٣) ] وه ئه‌وان كه‌س نیه سه‌ریان بخات.
و با پیروی از اوامر الله و پرهیز از نواهی او تعالی، میان خودتان و میان عذاب روز قیامت سپری قرار دهید؛ زیرا ـ در آن‌روز ـ هیچ‌کس، شخص دیگری را ذره‌ای بی‌نیاز نمی‌سازد، و هیچ فدیه‌ای هر چند بزرگ باشد از او پذیرفته نمی‌شود، و شفاعت هیچ‌کس هر چند جایگاه بزرگی داشته باشد، در مورد او پذیرفته نمی‌شود و هیچ یاوری ندارد که به جای الله به او یاری رساند.
Prémunissez-vous contre le châtiment du Jour de la Résurrection en obéissant aux ordres d'Allah et en vous abstenant de commettre Ses interdits car aucune âme ne sera utile à une autre ce jour-là et aucune compensation ni intercession ne sera acceptée, et ce quelle que soit le rang qu'ait l'intercesseur. Il n'y aura ce jour-là aucun autre secoureur qu'Allah.
